Thursday Night Herb Class

Thursday Night Herb Class is back with new topics and an earlier time start. These fun, informative herb classes are designed to inspire and educate you to use plants for food and medicine, including emotional well being. Two hours and just $20.00 per class. Take one or take them all!
Located in Sedro Woolley at 912A Third Street. Class runs every week Thursday 6:00 to 8:00, some material fees apply when using plant material or for take home samples.
September 14 Kitchen Herbalist Class! An introduction to herbs you probably have in your kitchen or dooryard and how to integrate them into your meals. We'll try dandelion greens and infused with garlic, explore culinary herbs that are great for digestion and what's up with the herb turmeric anyway?? $2 material fee

September 28 The Art of Tea Tea has been aroud for centuries and for good reason. The ritual of tea blending and brewing brought in to 5 easy steps. Join us and bring your favorite tea cup. $3 material fee, will take home samples
October 5 Preparing for and Surviving Cold and Flu Season Begin building your immunity to viruses now and sail through winter in health and well being. This class addresses prevention as well as tried and true remedies for cough, sinus issues, fever and aches/pains.
October 12 Herbal Steams and Baths A nice follow up to last weeks class, this class is hands on with infusing herbs into aromatic steams for sinus relief as well as fun, ritual herbs for those long, winter soaks in the tub! $2 material fee, will take home samples. October 19 Aromatherapy Introduction builds on our topic of Winter Health with aromatic therapies to open air passages, support our selves through the dark of the year and keep away germs. This is another hands on class making bath salts, sinus blends and room sprays. $5 material fee, will take home samples
October 26 Herbal Incense and Herbal Smudge sticks. The art of clearing energy is the topic of this fun class just before Halloween. Hands on, sticky, fragrant and centering. You'll love it. $4 material fee, will take home samples

Pacific Womens Herbal Conference September 22-24

Pre Conference Intensive on Lomi Lomi Massage offered to participants of the Pacific Womens Herbal Conference in Monroe. This Intensive Workshop introduces you to the concepts of Lomi Lomi, the ancient healing art of Hawaii with Erin Vanhee, LMT, Lomi practitioner and herbalist.
Lomi Lomi bodywork communicates down to the bones where we store genetic material of who we are on a soul level, opening the core and pathways to optimum health and well being. Using chant, long forearm strokes, stones, plants and aloha, Lomi Lomi addresses healing at all levels, physical, emotional and spiritual.
This Intensive is open to all women regardless of massage experience. Participants will leave with an understanding of how to address pain, range of motion concerns and the abilty to use three Lomi massage strokes in massage.
This Pre Conference Intensive is $75.oo, CEU's available for Licensed health care providers.

 

This year the Pacific Womens Herbal Gathering is Full! But Pre Intensives are open or spend the Day at the Conference and choose an Intensive Class and stay for the Key Note Speaker and Dinner.
